Cookie Policy

DoseScan uses a small number of essential cookies to keep you logged in and remember your preferences. We don't track you, we don't advertise, and we don't sell your data.

We use 4 cookies — 3 essential, 1 preference. No advertising cookies. No analytics tracking.

All cookies we set

What cookies are

Cookies are small text files that a website places on your device when you visit. They are widely used to make websites work, to remember your preferences, and to provide information to website owners about how their site is used.

DoseScan uses cookies only where necessary to make the platform function. We do not use cookies for advertising, behavioural tracking, or analytics purposes.

Cookies we use

We use two categories of cookies:

Essential cookies are required for DoseScan to work. Without them, you cannot log in or use the dashboard. These cannot be disabled.

Preference cookies remember settings you have chosen to improve your experience. They do not track you across other websites.

The full list of cookies we set is in the table above.

What we don't do

DoseScan does not use:

Advertising or targeting cookies — we have no advertising relationships and do not build profiles of users for marketing purposes.

Analytics cookies — we do not use Google Analytics, Hotjar, Mixpanel, or any similar third-party analytics service. We collect only technical logs from our own infrastructure.

Social media cookies — we do not embed social media widgets or tracking pixels on the platform.

Third-party cookies from ad networks — no advertising network has access to any data about your use of DoseScan.

Managing cookies

You can control cookies through your browser settings. Most browsers allow you to:

View which cookies have been set and delete them individually or all at once.

Block cookies from specific websites or all websites.

Set your browser to notify you when a cookie is being set.

Please note that disabling essential cookies will prevent you from logging in to DoseScan. Preference cookies can be disabled without affecting core functionality.

For guidance on managing cookies in your specific browser, visit the browser's help documentation or the ICO's guidance at ico.org.uk/your-data-matters/online/cookies.

The mobile app

DoseScan's mobile application (available on Android and iOS) does not use browser cookies. Instead, it uses secure local storage on the device to maintain authentication tokens and offline data.

This local data is managed by the DoseScan app and is not accessible to other applications on the device. It is cleared when you log out of the app or uninstall it.

Changes to this policy

If we introduce new cookies, we will update this policy and notify account administrators by email. We will not introduce advertising or tracking cookies without explicit consent.
